The agreement
These terms are between you and GreenTrack (“we”). By creating an account or using GreenTrack you accept them. If you set up a workspace for a firm, you confirm you may bind that firm, and “you” includes it. The privacy policy explains how we handle personal data and is part of this agreement.
The service
GreenTrack is a tool for running green building certification projects as deliverables: it creates them from a rating library and the choices a project admin makes, tracks their status and evidence, and calculates points, rating position and risk from that state. It is in early access: features will change, and some, such as AI features, are announced but not yet live.
Accounts and workspaces
- Give accurate details and keep your sign-in credentials to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
- A workspace admin is responsible for who they invite, the roles they give, and the content their workspace puts into GreenTrack.
- When you accept an invitation to someone else’s project, the admins of that project control it, including removing you from it.
- Tell us promptly if you believe an account has been used without permission.
Your content
Everything your workspace puts into GreenTrack stays yours. You give us the right to host, store, process and display it, only as needed to run the service for you and the people you share it with. You are responsible for having the right to upload what you upload, including drawings, reports and calculations produced by other firms, and for not uploading anything unlawful.
Deliverables, evidence and comments are kept as a record and are not deleted from a live project; a workspace admin can ask us to delete a project or workspace as a whole. Evidence files can be downloaded from their deliverables at any time, and a workspace admin can ask us for a copy of a project’s full record, which we will provide within a reasonable time.
Libraries and calculations
The standard rating libraries are our adaptation of the published manuals of the respective rating systems. GreenTrack is not affiliated with, endorsed by or acting for any certifying body, and the libraries are not the official documents. A workspace that uploads its own library is responsible for its contents.
The points, ratings, buffers, risk and due dates GreenTrack shows are calculated from the library and from what your team has entered and approved. They are a planning aid. They are not a certification decision, and they do not guarantee that a project will achieve any rating. The assessor’s decision and the official manual govern; you remain responsible for checking your submissions against them.
Acceptable use
- Do not try to reach data you have not been given access to, or to bypass the access rules.
- Do not probe, overload or interfere with the service, or scrape it.
- Do not share an account, or let someone use yours.
- Do not upload malware or content that infringes anyone’s rights or the law.
If you find a security problem, follow the reporting steps on the trust page.
Fees
GreenTrack is free during early access. The prices we will charge are on the pricing page: per active project, with the first one free and nothing per person. Before we start charging, we will tell workspace admins the date with enough notice to decide. A project keeps the price it started on, and nothing you have already put in will be held back from you.
Availability and support
We aim to keep GreenTrack available and to fix problems quickly, but during early access we do not promise a particular uptime. We may take the service down briefly for maintenance and will try to do so outside UAE working hours. Support is by email; we answer as soon as we can.
Ending the agreement
You can stop using GreenTrack and ask us to close your account or delete your workspace at any time. We may suspend or end access if you break these terms, with notice and a chance to put it right where that is reasonable, or at once if the breach puts other people’s data at risk. If we decide to stop offering GreenTrack, we will give workspace admins at least 60 days’ notice and a copy of their content on request.
Warranties and liability
GreenTrack is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we make no promise that it is free of errors or fits a particular purpose, and we are not liable for indirect losses, lost profits or lost contracts, or for a rating a project does not achieve. Our total liability to you for anything connected with the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited.
Changes, law and contact
We may change these terms. For changes that matter we tell workspace admins by email before they take effect; continuing to use GreenTrack after that date means you accept them. These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, and disputes go to the courts of Abu Dhabi.
